WE ARE...

Carl Hankey School opened in 1978 and serves approximately 700 students in Kindergarten through Eighth Grade. Hankey students are active learners who come from a diverse socio-economic community, that actively participates in their children's education. Our dedicated, highly experienced, and caring staff knows each student by name and by need. After 30 years, Carl Hankey's family is proud that our exceptional school bears his name.

MIDDLE SCHOOL

Mission Statement

Carl Hankey Middle School promotes each student’s academic achievement and social development through collaboration between teachers, students, parents, and administrators within our small school environment.  Our school acts as the essential bridge between elementary school, high school, community, and the world beyond.

Vision Statement

The Carl Hankey Middle School staff will know each student by name and by need.  Our goal is to provide excellence in education in order to be the most sought after middle school of choice.  Through the promotion of academic excellence and service to the school and community our students will be life-long learners and contributing members of society.

Carl Hankey Elementary School provides high quality, differentiated learning experiences that promote each student’s academic achievement.  Through collaborative team teaching and data driven instruction, each individual student’s needs are assessed, addressed, and fulfilled.  In partnership with families, community, and staff, we inspire enthusiastic learners and responsible, respectful citizens who always strive for academic and personal excellence. 

Vision Statement

Carl Hankey Elementary School staff will know each student by name and by need so that all students will meet or exceed the State Standards.   We will distinguish ourselves by pursuing student excellence. All students will thrive each year, with strong foundations that ensure future success as life-long learners who embrace diversity in an ever changing world.
